With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Gareth brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Phoenix Energy – Cyprus. 

Gareth began his career in 1993 with Nowsco (UK), an oil and gas service provider, after 3 years he moved to Air products where he assisted in the growth of their Industrial gas services division, APEX, he progressed to the position of projects manager responsible for all major projects involving temporary Nitrogen and Hydrogen supplies. 

In 2008 Gareth decided to establish a new service provider and with the financial backing of a Dutch organisation he incorporated PNS (UK) Ltd. Over the 15 years as managing director Gareth managed the growth of the business to over £33m revenue and 250 employees. The company specialised in onshore services to the energy sector, including oil refineries, gas terminals and pipeline operators, PNS(UK) also gained a reputation for delivering construction and commissioning services to the LNG industry with worked being carried out globally on 8 Major projects. 

Due to the changing landscape in the energy sector, in 2021 a new clean energy division was formed, the aim was to specialise in the transition to new cleaner forms of energy provision, these included Hydrogen, solar, hydro and geothermal. The company began working with a Major UK retailer in assisting with the decarbonisation of their transport fleet, this work involved consultation and design of an onsite Hydrogen generation plant complete with storage and re-fuelling station. 

In 2023, Gareth decided to fulfil a lifelong ambition and re-located to the island of Cyprus
